Throughout the project, extensive research was conducted, involving collaboration with bird enthusiasts, zoo biologists, and birdwatchers to gain profound insights into sparrow behavior and the reasons behind their extinction. In addition, market studies and surveys were carried out, and micro and macro trend mapping techniques were applied to understand urban preferences regarding forms and colors. The design approach focused on achieving a balance between the feasibility of production through local potters, the comfort of sparrows, and alignment with urban aesthetic choices. The outcome resulted in a modular product that seamlessly integrates into urban living, considering the unique needs of these avian creatures.
